Here are the latest updates across the consular community...

  • United Kingdom
    A PCR Covid Travel Test is required when entering certain destinations in order to show you do not carry the virus. You can book this test through us

  • Saudi Arabia
    Saudi has reopened to vaccinated international visitors (see here for details). There is no quarantine requirement for vaccinated travelers to Saudi. Travelers arriving in Saudi Arabia are also required to provide a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before departure and an approved paper vaccination certificate, certified by the official health authorities in the issuing country.

    You must download the Tatamman and Tawakkalna apps and maintain contact on these apps during your time in the Kingdom.

  • Algeria
    From 20 March 2022, entry to Algeria requires evidence of a vaccine certificate issued less than nine months before travel, or a (non-NHS) negative PCR test taken less than 72 hours before the time of arrival for unvaccinated people, and those whose vaccine pass was issued over nine months before travel. You cannot obtain a visa on arrival.

  • Ghana
    From 28 March 2022, fully vaccinated travellers must present their vaccination certificate before boarding and on arrival. Non-resident unvaccinated travellers will not be granted entry into Ghana.

  • India
    Scheduled international flights remain suspended. A limited number of flights are currently operating between India and the UK under a bilateral agreement but these arrangements may be subject to change at short notice.
    Fully vaccinated travellers should submit a self-declaration form here before scheduled travel.
    The only requirement on arrival currently is to self-monitor for 14 days.

  • Sri Lanka
    You should online for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to enter Sri Lanka. Fully vaccinated travellers need to complete an online pre-travel health registration form.
    On 27 February, the Government of Sri Lanka announced that fully vaccinated travellers are no longer required to take a pre-departure COVID-19 test before arrival. COVID-19 travel insurance is mandatory for all visitors. If your insurance does not specifically cover COVID19 you can apply and pay online.

  • China
    Visas may be possible under certain conditions but these conditions are changing frequently.

  • Russia
    All passengers must carry a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test result dated within 48 hours before arrival in Russia or have an express test done on arrival.
