Visas for Ghana

Document type: Business Tourist Work Transit Fees

All visitors to Ghana require a visa.
Processing Timeis typically 7 days (72 hours and 24 hours priority services are available)

NB: procedures at the Ghana Consulate have recently changed

Requirements - Business visa
  • 2 Application Forms (completed in capitals)
  • Passport (validity must be a minimum of 6 months)
  • 2 passport-sized photos (must be on white background)
  • Invitation from Inviting Company
  • UK business support letter - addressed to High Commission
                   (Ghana High Commission, 13 Belgrave Square, London SW1X 8PS)
  • Copy of flight schedule

 

Requirements: Tourist Visa
  • 2 Application Forms (completed in capitals)
  • Passport (validity must be minimum of 6 months)
  • 2 passport sized photos (must be on white background)
  • Copy of flight schedule

    For a 3 month visa – evidence of sufficient funds will be required

    Note: The High Commission will decide the status of the visa, length and also may request additional supporting information.
