All visitors to Algeria require a visa.

- Requirements: Tourist Visa
- Passport
(must have a validity of at least six months on exit plus a minimum of two blank facing pages)
- Photocopy of passport
The Embassy requires two good quality photocopies of all the pages (including blanks) in the passport. You can either provide these or we can do this for you (for a small administration charge).
- 2 recent passport-sized photographs
(Please write your full name on the reverse of both photos)
- Application Form
(must be completed online then printed twice and both copies signed and dated)
- Supporting UK letter
An original letter from your UK employer, or school/university if you are a student. This must be written on company letterhead, addressed to the embassy and should confirm your employment or academic status. It must also note your job title or subject, the purpose of your trip, and indicate the date on which you are due to return to work or study.
- Proof of accommodation
Confirmation of a hotel booking, an official invitation with itinerary from an Algerian travel agency, or an accommodation certificate certified by the local authorities in Algeria (certificat d’hébergement légalisé par l’A.P.C.) is required. The certificate must include the name of the person inviting you, your relationship to them, and the address at which you’ll be staying while in Algeria

- Business Introduction letter
The letter of introduction from your UK employer must be an original written on company letterhead, addressed to the Embassy. It should include duration and purpose of travel, and provide details of all companies or organisations to be visited in Algeria. The letter must be signed by an authorised individual and should confirm acceptance of moral and financial responsibility for your trip.
- Letter of Invitation

Additional information:
Your application will automatically be rejected by the embassy if you hold a visa for Israel or have any Israeli stamps endorsed in your passport.
The embassy reserves the right to request additional documents in support of your visa application, and to alter or increase fees without prior notice.
