Apply For Visa - Indonesia
- Requirements: Tourist Visa
Note: required for a stay of over 30 and up to 60 days
... a visa is available on arrival for stays less than 30 days
for most passport holders (latest information here)
- Completed application form
- One passport photo
- Current passport valid for at least 6 months from entry date
(Must be UK Resident with at least one month exceeding the validity of the requested visa)
- Travel itinerary (proof of booking), including details of onward or return journey
- Hotel Reservation (if applicable)
- Bank Statement dated less than a month with a minimum balance of £ 1,000.- (one thousand pounds)
- A recent letter (less than 1 month old) from applicant's employer.
- If self employed, a confirmation letter from applicant's solicitor, or accountant, or Bank Manager.
- For a student, a confirmation letter of attendance from school, college or university.
- "au pair" or domestic help will have to show employer's passport and submit copy of the said passport and letter from employer.
All of the above type of letters must certify the applicant's obligation to return after the visit to Indonesia
- Written approval from the Immigration Office in Indonesia (if required)
- Requirements: Business Visa (single-entry)

- One coloured passport size photograph
- Evidence that the applicant has sufficient funds to cover the cost of applicant's intended stay in Indonesia
(Bank Statement dated less than a month or traveler's cheques)
- For Conference attendance:
- A letter/invitation from the conference host setting out details, including nature, duration and programme of the conference/seminar.
- For other business:
- Two supporting letters, each from the applicant’s firm in UK and sponsor/counterpart in Indonesia setting out the reason and duration of the proposed visit, and responsibility for accommodation/maintenance costs.
- Copy of written approval from the Immigration Office in Indonesia if the duration of business is to exceed 60 days.
- Requirements: Employment Visa
- Completed application form
- Passport (with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of entry into Indonesia)
- One coloured passport size photograph
- A written approval from the Immigration Office in Indonesia
- Supporting letters, each from the applicant’s firm/sponsor in UK and Indonesia, setting out the reason for the visit, details of the duration of the proposed visit, and responsibility for accommodation / maintenance costs.
- Evidence that the applicant has sufficient funds to cover the cost of applicant's intended stay in Indonesia
(Bank Statement dated less than a month with a minimum balance of £1,000.- or traveler's cheque).
- Requirements: Transit Visa
The visa will be valid for 3 months from issue date for a single entry of up to 7 days.
- Completed application form
- Passport (with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of entry into Indonesia)
- One coloured passport size photograph
- Valid and confirmed tickets and other documents to travel to the applicant’s next destination
- Evidence of sufficient funds to maintain oneself whilst staying in Indonesia
(e.g. a recent Bank Statement, etc.).
- Only if joining or working on a vehicle transiting Indonesia:
Proof of a work contract / a letter of recommendation from the applicant’s firm in UK and its counterpart in Indonesia
